Cape Town, 11 April – Inaugurated in summer 2008 by Kevin Spacey, Villa Agave overlooks the Adriatic from a cliftop in strolling distance of the Old Town. Formerly the residence of the famous archaeologist Sir Arthur Evans (from 1878 to 1882) the villa has been renovated to a high degree of luxury with many interesting and valuable antique details. Its core is the 13th century chapel of St Lazarus, the remainder dating from the 17th /18th centuries. The interior is filled with art, including works by Croatian artists Milovan Stanic and Romana Milutin Farbis, and precious items from the Strok family collection.

Villa Agave has 270 square meters of exclusively designed interior space and approximately 400 square meters of specially decorated exterior. It has three luxurious rooms with uniquely designed furniture, a VIP lounge and sizeable living room, lavish bathrooms and outdoor pool. There are five terraces overlooking the sea and a private beach. A Mediterranean style dominates the interior, along with a myriad of interesting and precious antiques details.
