Atlantic

Safari Lodge

Settled on the unfenced western boundary of South Africa’s Kruger National Park, at what seems the very heart of the African bush, lies the private Manyeleti Game Reserve. Sharing this vast wilderness with only two other commercial lodges, Tintswalo Safari Lodge is perfectly located to offer all the raw, natural beauty of Africa, without the usual tourist crowds.

Abounding in wildlife, this 23 000-hectare reserve lends opportunity to experience the continent’s best sightings, including the big five, rare birds, big cats and wild dogs, and colossal herds of general game. Game drives are comfortably hosted by Tintswalo’s fully-accredited, qualified guides and local trackers.

All this is enjoyed from the lap of luxury. Connected by raised wooden walkways, the sumptuous suites are staggered along the banks of a seasonal river. At Waterfall

Tintswalo at Waterfall is an intimate boutique hotel offering unparalleled cuisine, exceptional luxury and caring Tintswalo service. The ultimate country experience in the middle of the city, Tintswalo at Waterfall is less than thirty minutes from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport, and a short drive from the upmarket shopping and business metropolis, Sandton.

The lodge is sprawled out like a massive, elegant barn; the equestrian theme resonates throughout the hotel’s décor. Sixteen spacious king suites offer en-suite bathrooms and quaint balconies with views of the Estate dam or polo fields.
